Though authors can still post Amazon links in their own postings (and all of us know how few of our friends get to see these postings) and authors can also post Amazon links in groups, indie authors cannot post Amazon links in comments of friends' postings any longer.
It is highly unlikely that my friend Irene would have considered my posting as Spam, she and I have known each other for almost 50 years.
Here we are attending elementary school.
Also, in her posting my friend Irene complained that her postings aren't getting seen on Facebook. Hence, I posted a link to my book "The Little Blue Book for Authors: 101 Clues to Get More Out of Facebook" which was free on that day.
In other words, I was addressing her specific problem, with a free solution!
Irene would have been happy to get free info she could also share with our friends in Austria. She was looking for a way to deal with the situation that Facebook doesn't show her postings.
Here is how to work around this problem.
Use your Goodreads book links!
Goodreads is a social media platform, not an ecommerce platform, so, until Facebook decides to restrict Goodreads too, this is an easy solution.
BTW: "The Little Blue Book for Authors: 101 Clues to Get More Out of Facebook" is STILL FREE till February 13, 2018.
Which ones of your postings aren't getting shown? Please share in the comment section.
